Hearts On Fire®, a global luxury brand known for creating The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond®, today announced that its Vice President of Learning and Development, Pat Henneberry, has been recognized with a 2017 Award for Excellence by The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA). Specifically, Henneberry – who also is a columnist for industry publication National Jeweler – was awarded top recognition over three additional nominees in the Business Services category. 

Each year, the WJA presents its coveted Awards for Excellence to female professionals in the jewelry and/or watch industries who have demonstrated significant achievements throughout their careers in seven categories that include: design; manufacturer, dealer, supplier; merchandising and product development; business services; large-scale, independent, and open-format retail; marketing and communications; and editorial media.  This year, the WJA Awards for Excellence categories were reviewed and redefined, to include that eligible nominees must also have a reputation for integrity, honesty, high ethical standards, and credibility, as well as devote time and effort to help women in the jewelry industry excel. 

With more than 30 years in the industry, Henneberry is one of the world’s top diamond trainers and has teamed up with leading experts to help build multiple brands in the jewelry industry. She joined the Hearts On Fire team in early 2015 as the Company’s first Global Learning and Development Vice President, where she oversees the strategic direction, operation and expansion of all retail sales coaching, training and development for the brand. Specifically, Henneberry is deeply involved with the industry’s best-in-class Hearts On Fire University, a 1,000 person sales training and motivational event held in Las Vegas for the brand’s retail sales associates. 

Outside of Hearts On Fire, Henneberry’s dynamic personality and an emphasis on customer service naturally complement her role as a leader in the field. Henneberry has been a teacher and advisor, helping to build strong brands for retailers and manufacturers in the luxury jewelry world.
